From early spring through early summer,spikes of lovely, lavender-blue bugles topreddish stems above an evergreen rosette of scalloped leaves. Will produce adjacent “satellite” clumps if in a happy location. It’s partial to partially-shaded rockeries, tufa troughs, or crevice or scree gardens. It’s a tough, slug-proof, easy-to-grow perennial that really should be more widely planted!
