Weigela praecox ‘Variegata’ is a small, upright, deciduous shrub with ovate, mid-green leaves broadly edged with creamy-white. Slightly fragrant, funnel-shaped, rose-pink flowers are blotched yellow within.

May-June flowering. Grows in full sun or semi-shade in most garden soils. Height & spread: 1.5m x 1.5m (5′ x 5′).
