Spider Plants are fast-growing, easy-care houseplants that are popular with beginning gardeners since they thrive in medium-to-low-light areas of your home. The long, narrow leaves are variegated white and green and flowers form on long stems where small plantlets develop. Its not uncommon to have multiple stems and plantlets hanging off a single plant. The NASA Clean Air study names the Spider Plant to be effective in reducing indoor air pollution so its an ideal plant to hang in a bedroom window or grow on a shelf in the kitchen or bathroom.
