This Vanda is a complex hybrid, resulting from a cross between two highly desirable Southeast Asian lines, ensuring a vigorous plant with large, colorful blooms. Like most strap-leaf Vandas, it has a monopodial growth habit and produces large, silvery aerial roots that are typically grown bare-root in baskets.

• Light: High light is crucial for blooming. Provide bright, indirect light, equivalent to a 50-60% shade cloth, or several hours of direct morning sun. Leaves should be a medium, slightly yellow-green, not dark green.
• Temperature: Warm to Intermediate. Daytime temperatures should be from 70-95F (21-35C). Nighttime temperatures should ideally drop to 60-70F (16-21C). Protect from temperatures below 55F (13C).
• Humidity: High (60-80%) is required, especially since these are often grown bare-root. Excellent air circulation is mandatory to prevent fungal issues in the high-humidity environment.
• Watering: Water heavily and frequently, often daily or twice daily in hot, dry weather, as the exposed roots dry out very quickly. The roots must be allowed to dry quickly after watering. Reduce frequency slightly during cooler, cloudier winter periods.
