Uebelmannia pectinifera is a rare cactus known for its ribbed, spherical to cylindrical shape and purplish-brown to green colour. Its sharp ribs have fine, comb-like spines in a radial pattern, giving it a textured look. Mature plants may develop a waxy coating for sun protection and can produce small yellow flowers at the top.
This cactus thrives in sunny environments like greenhouses or conservatories.
How to care for your cactus–
Water:Water sparingly and allow to dry out in between watering
Light: Prefers bright but indirect light conditions.
Humidity: Will thrive in average humidity levels but prefers lower humidity levels
Temperature:Needs average to warm conditions 16-25C but will be OK down to 10C for short periods.
