A species of cooler zones from southern Mexico to Nicaragua where is grows as an epiphyte. A many leaved rosette with narrow, semi-stiff leaves, heavily coated with trichomes and dark gray in color. The inflorescence is tall, above the foliage, a scape with a cluster of red branches. Very colorful and long lasting. In cultivation it needs pure water and good air circulation and prefers moist conditions.
