Tillandsia disticha is an interesting and unique species. It has a very interesting shape with its bulbous base and long thin leaves. Its one of the few Tillandsia species that are stoloniferous which means that new pups/offsets are produced on runners that appear from the base. The flower spike is impressive too. It is long and branched with light green bracts and bright yellow flowers that are lightly fragrant in the morning.
