Common names: Air plant, Spanish moss (T. Usneoides)

These relatives of the pineapple plant are native to Mexico, where they grow attached to trees. Tillandsia do not require soil, and can be displayed in glass, ceramics or on wood. Place in a bright window and submerge the plant in water every week or two.
