Thyme Lemon Variegated is a hardy evergreen herbaceous perennial plant with small aromatic variegated green and gold foliage and it’s widely used for teas and food flavouring. It grows up to 15cm in height and up to 15cm in spread and thrives best in sheltered full sun south or east facing position in moist, but well drained fertile neutral soil. From red buds it produces dainty lavender pink flowers in summer and is bees and butterflies friendly.

When grown in containers we recommend a good quality multipurpose compost is used. Plants should be fed during the growing season with a liquid feed as per the manufacturers instructions.
