Swiss Cheese Vine Friedrichsthalii is sometimes referred to as the juvenile form of Monstera adansonii. There are many different cultivars in the Monstera family and given the variation in forms due to age and growing conditions debates among experts are common. The leaves on this plant are about 2-4 and the growth is more vine-like. Friedrichsthalii displays a moderate amount of oval holes (fenestrations) in the foliage. Given enough humidity and a surface to climb and adhere to, the foliage will grow much larger and fuller.
