This is one of two ‘Pewter’ Stewartias selected and developed by Guy & Chiyoko at Plantmad Nursery. A striking twist on the already-lovely S. pseudocamellia species, ‘Pewter Form #1′ has a silvery-bright sheen all summer, and its new stems are red. It still has the beautiful white, cupped, camellia-like flowers Stewartias are know for. After speedy growth the first year or two, they are moderate growers to the ultimate height of 2030’ tall.
