Snowdrop Woronowii Galanthus woronowii

This small snowdrop species have bright shiny green leaves and a delicate horseshoe mark at the base of the inner flower. One of the first spring flowers to appear in early January, these snowdrops are perfect for naturalising and will return year after year.

They prefer a semi shaded position in moist but well-drained soil, in woodlands, lawns and under trees and are an attractive addition to rock gardens and the front of garden borders.

Let the foliage die back naturally after flowering as the leaves are still photosynthesising and sending nutrients into the bulbs for the next year’s flowers.
