Also commonly known as ‘String of Bananas’, this plant is a great addition for any lover of ‘String of Things’ plants.

It is worth mentioning that the ‘bananas’ are quite delicate and they may lose a few strands during transit, dont worry though! This gives you the opportunity to propagate them and grow even more plants.

This plant also grows patches of fluffy fibres between the stems and leaves, don’t worry! These are not to be confused with a similar looking fuzzy pest.

Care:

Light:A medium level filtered light will be best however they are tolerant of lower light levels.

Water:These plants like todry out almost completelybefore watering as they store water in their leaves.

Food:During the growing season feed only once or twice with a half strength fertiliser.

Humidity:Will tolerate a normal home humidity level however will appreciate a slightly raised humidity. Use the pebble tray method or mist semi-regularly.
