Sedum requieni is a very flat-growing evergreen plant that has very tiny, deep green succulent leaves that form a tight mat. It is sprinkled with tiny yellowish white, star-shaped blooms in middle summer. An uncommon species, Sedum requieni‘s foliage may turn red with heat or cold. This slow-growing Stonecrop works well between stepping stones, in the rock garden or as a perennial ground cover under roses or shrubbery.

Sedum requieni prefers partial to mostly sun and average, well-drained soil. It is tolerant of coastal conditions. It withstands moderate to heavy foot traffic. Space on 4″ centers
