One of the smallest Santolinas, the Minocan cotton lavender is an aromatic, evergreen, wooly, rounded shrublet with warm orange-yellow button flowerheads in mid-summer.

Santolinas are great for adding texture and interesting grey color to your rock garden beds. Does beautifully in lean rocky soils but will tolerate clay provided it still has some drainage. Cut back after bloom.

Best pruned in early spring.
