Rudbeckia missouriensis, commonly called Missouri Coneflower, is a tenacious, long-lived perennial that blooms abundantly all summer long. Orange-yellow petals surround a dark center and attracta variety of pollinators including butterflies and bees.

The Missouri Coneflower typically grows 2-3′ tall, with narrow hairy leaves and stems. It tolerates drought, shallow-rocky soil, deer, and has no serious insect or disease problems. Native to southern and central United States.
