• Rosemary Miss Jessop’s is a hardy herbaceous perennial plant with aromatic needle-like grey-green foliage and it’s widely used in food flavouring. This variety grows up to 1.5m in height and 1.5m in spread and thrives best in sheltered full sun positions in moist well drained neutral fertile soil. Flowers emerge in spring with sporadic blooms occurring in summer in pale blue blooms and its bees and butterflies friendly.
• As a guide this plant can grow to about 75cm x 30cm
• When planting this perennial in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If suitable for containers then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost. These plants should be fed in Spring and late Summer with a good quality granular fertiliser.
