Rosemary is a hardy herbaceous perennial plant with aromatic needle-like grey-green foliage and it’s widely used in food flavouring. It grows up to 60-180cm in height and 60-150cm in spread and thrives best in exposed or sheltered full sun positions in moist well drained chalky or sandy neutral soil. Flowers emerge in spring with sporadic blooms occurring in summer in pale blue to white colour blooms and its bees and butterflies friendly.

When grown in containers we recommend a good quality multipurpose compost is used. Plants should be fed during the growing season with a liquid feed as per the manufacturers instructions.
