Attractive tricolored foliage has white and green striping with pink highlights on the leaves and purple undersides. Place Rhoeo Tricolor outside in a summer container or grow it as an annual planted directly in the ground in combination with begonias, impatiens and other plants that prefer partial sun. Keep out of hot, mid-day sun, but moderate amounts of light are needed to maintain the colorful foliage. Small white flowers surrounded by purple bracts appear intermittently throughout the spring, summer and fall.
