Plant Care

Position: full sun or light shade thrives in rich, well-drained soil with plenty of space
Hardiness: fully hardy biennial vegetable ideal for overwintering
Feeding & Watering: water regularly in dry weather; feed occasionally with a balanced liquid fertiliser
Hot Tips: plant in late spring to early summer for a late winter to spring crop. Protect from pigeons and caterpillars with netting. Cut spears regularly to encourage more shoots. Best grown in beds or large raised planters.
