Gorgeous, splash petals have distinct variations so each flower is unique. Summer Choice has light lavender petals and sepals with dark lavender splashes; the ruffled lip is deep magenta to nearly black with yellow in the throat. The 4 flowers have a pleasing scent and there are usually 3-4 blooms per spike that last 2-3 weeks. Bloom season is late summer through winter. It has received the Highly Commended Certificate from the American Orchid Society. Summer Choice are blooming size plants, but they are late to spike this year and so are not being shipped in spike.
