Potentilla goldfinger is a deciduous shrub that is known for its bright yellow flowers. The flowers are about 1 inch in diameter and bloom from late spring to early fall. The leaves are small and fern-like, and they turn a golden color in autumn. It prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. It is drought-tolerant once established, but does appreciate regular watering during hot, dry weather.

Planting: When planting this plant in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If planting in a container then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost. These plants should be fed in Spring and late Summer with a good quality granular fertiliser.
