Very rare. Juvenile growth has a striking star-like mint colored shape across the center surrounded by darker spotting. Mature foliage is large 8-10 inches across green polygonal foliage with dark purple mottling. Spring brings red pendulous flowers beneath the leaves, and purple-black fruits replace them in fall.

Propagated from root cuttings, it takes about three years to grow them to the smallest saleable size.
