Pinus strobiformis is a medium sized pine, with its native habit in Southwestern United States and Mexico. It produces cones that can reach up to a foot long and contain edible seeds. An ornamental tree with a very elegant look. The Mexican White Pine has long leaves, slender twigs and smooth, silvery-grey bark. For optimum growth it is best to position the tree where it will receive full sun.
