Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Midnight’ is a new dwarf variety producing clusters of tiny, pink-tinged white flowers set against the magnificent, almost black, dark purple foliage.

Early summer flowering. Deciduous shrub. Best in a sunny position in most garden soils. Height & spread: 1.2m x 1.2m (4′ x 4′).
