Compact native hybrid from Cythera, Greece, possibly between P. cretica P. fruticosa. Evergreen rounded shrub, with wooly grey-green leaves, requires little to no summer water once established. Bright yellow flowers bloom in whorls. Appreciates freely draining soil in full sun. Native soil is calcareous – addition of lime or oyster shell when planting would be appreciated.
