Philodendron plants are easy-going and generally forgiving with their care routine. They thrive in bright, filtered light conditions but can tolerate medium light as well. Variegated Philodendron plants crave a higher light source to help keep their variegation. Water your Philodendron when the soil is dry about 2 down from the top of the pot. Keep your Philodendron in chunky potting mix.
