Philadelphus microphyllus’s native range spans from Wyoming down into southeastern California and Northern Mexico. ‘Charles Price’ is a Xera Plants introduction gifted to them from (and named for) the famed PNW design team Withey-Price. These shrubs have a charming, airy look from their small, light green foliage and bloom heavily in early summer with white, fragrant flowers typical of their famous genus.

This shrub is drought-tolerant and happy to grow in lean rocky soils.
