Peperomia Abricos is an uncommon caperata variety distinguished by its bright colored stems and rippled, dark leaves edged with gradientsof pink. This plants genus name comes from two Greek words: peperi, which means pepper, and homoios (resembling). They really do resemble pepper plants and are actually related to true black pepper.
Light: Peperomia fare best in bright, indirect light. It can also do well with morning or evening sun, but will not tolerate full, direct sun. Fluorescent lighting is an excellent choice when growing these easy-care indoor plants.
Water: While Peperomia like to be on the dryer side, their fragile roots do not tolerate drought conditions. Allow the soil to dry out about halfway down in the pot between thorough waterings. Avoid wetting their leaves or stems.
Humidity: Moderate to low humidity is best.
Not poisonous to pets if ingested.
Photographs are representative of the species and not always the specific plant shipped. Normal variations in size, pruning and leaf structure may occur.
