Garden Mint is a hardy herbaceous perennial plant with aromatic toothed foliage and it’s widely used for food flavouring. It grows up to 60cm in height and thrives best in exposed or sheltered full sun or partial shade positions in moist well drained or poorly drained sandy or chalky neutral soil. It flowers from June to August in pale purple colour blooms and its bee friendly.

When grown in containers we recommend a good quality multipurpose compost is used. Plants should be fed during the growing season with a liquid feed as per the manufacturers instructions.
