Dense clusters of deep rosy-red flowers in May to June are hard to miss! Tufted, mat-forming foliage sends up 12″ tall flower stems. Though it prefers more luxurious conditions like well-draining moist soil, it is tolerant of dry, poor soils. Butterflies enjoy.
