Lovage is a versatile herb that can be used in a variety of dishes. The leaves can be added to soups, stews, and sauces. The roots can be roasted or boiled and eaten as a vegetable. The seeds can be used to flavor pickles and other preserves.

Planting : When planting in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If planting in a container then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost with added John Innes. These plants should be fed in Spring and late Summer with a good quality granular fertiliser.
