A good ground cover for conifers. Linnaea borealis is a native woodland vine that forms dense mats across forest floors. North American native with a very broad range but well adapted to our PNW clay, winter wet, and dry summers. Covered in fragrant bell-shaped flowers in late spring to summer enjoyed by bees and butterflies.
