Leucothoe Curly Red is a low growing shrub with unique curly foliage that produces bright fiery crimson new shoots that turn to green and then in autumn a display of deep crimson foliage. Best grown in shadier conditions in a moist yet well drained soil.

Planting: This is an ericaceous or acid loving plant and must be planted in an acidic soil. If your soil is not suitable then it may be grown in a container using ericaceous compost.
