Leptinella squalida ‘Platt’s Black’ is an excellent plant grown primarily for its bronze-black, ferny foliage (the more shade it is grown in the greener the foliage will become), although from mid spring to midsummer the foliage is topped with masses of button-like, yellow flowers. Ideal at the front of a border, in an alpine feature or in a container.

May-June flowering. Evergreen. Will grow in sun or semi-shade in a well drained position. Height & spread: 2cm x 45cm-60cm (1″ x 18″-24″).
