The ever popular culinary bay. A large glossy evergreen plant with pointed leaves. Best grown in a sunny sheltered site in a moist yet well drained soil. Can be trimmed to maintain size and shape.
As a guide this plant will grow to 5m x 5m in 10 yrs.
Here at Polhill we recommend that you use a good quality compost mixed with your garden soil when planting in the ground. If going into containers then a good multipurpose compost or John Innes compost is recommended
