A charming Kerria cultivar introduced by Nurseries Caroliniana. Add a touch of whimsy to your shade garden with this woodland shrub native to China and Japan. Leaves are variegated with splashes of cream. Sometimes the cream variegation appears on the soft yellow petals of the single flowers. Variegated Japanese cultivars often include the name Nishiki which translates to brocade. Leaves transition to golden yellow in the fall. Kerria appreciates an organic mulch layer and some summer water.
