Kalanchoe blossfeldiana is a succulent plant native to Madagascar. ‘Calandiva’ is a double flowering cultivar of Kalanchoe blossfeldiana and is the most commonly seen flowering Kalanchoe. It is also sometimes referred to as flaming Katy, Chirstmas kalanchoe or florist kalanchoe for it’s brightly colored, numerous flowers.

This easy to care for, slow growing plant works wonderfully on an East or South facing windowsill when watered weekly. Do not allow it to dry out completely, as the flowers will fade much faster and the leaves will begin to crisp up and drop.
