Hosta ‘Plug Nickel’ is a miniature variety of Plantain Lily offering glossy, dark green, ovate leaves that form attractive mounds of foliage. Lavender flowers bloom above the foliage in summer. Hosta ‘Plug Nickel’ is a sport of ‘Cracker Crumbs’.

Hostas grow best in moist, fertile soil, although they can tolerate drought. They can be grown in clay soil and under black walnut trees.
