Hosta ‘Hope’ is a miniature, mounding Plantain Lily with wide green leaves edged in softer green margins. It is topped by lavender blooms in summer that attract hummingbirds and other pollinators.

While Hostas can be drought-tolerant, they are most beautiful when grown in fertile soil and provided with sufficient moisture. They can be grown in clay soil and under black walnut trees.
