Horseradish is a hardy herbaceous perennial plant with hairless bright green unlobed leaves and large white roots widely used in a variety of dishes and cuisines. It grows up to 1.5m in height and thrives best in full sun and rich, fast draining soil. Although, it’s worth mentioning that it can be very invasive.

When grown in containers we recommend a good quality multipurpose compost is used. Plants should be fed during the growing season with a liquid feed as per the manufacturers instructions.
