Big (6-8″) showy scarlet-red flowers bloom on this hardy plant in mid and late summer. Each flower lasts a day or two, but the plant provides round after round for weeks. Upright bush to 3′, full sun, medium water (tolerant of wet feet), deer & heat resistant. Root hardy (cut back in winter), attracts butterflies.
