Heuchera villosa ‘Apricot’ has pretty apricot orange to pink, scalloped leaves that deepen to burnt orange as the season progresses. In late spring, Heuchera ‘Apricot’ produces sprays of tiny, long-lasting, rosy pink bell-shaped blooms. Frequently referred to as Coral Bells, their blooms make delicate additions to cut arrangements. Also known as Alumroot, evergreen Heuchera are great perennials for containers as well as the shady border.

Heuchera villosa is native to most of the eastern United States, where it is typically found in rocky open woods or moist, shady ledges and crevices.

Heuchera ‘Apricot’ prefers mostly shade, particularly in the afternoon and moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Heuchera villosa cultivars are some of the best for humid, southern gardens. Frequent division helps to maintain vigor.
