In late winter to early spring, 2.5-3 in pure white flowers bloom with golden-yellow stamens. These outward-facing flowers are in a dense bouquet at or below the height of emerging foliage. Dark green, mildly toothed, marvelously marbled evergreen leaves form a low mound.Evergreen perennial.

We first saw this at a nursery in England and were immediately smitten with it and so happy that it has arrived
