An attractive winter and spring flowering plant with masses of coloured flowers. Great in the open border or containers. Best in a position of dappled shade in a moist yet well drained soil.
As a guide these plants can grow to about 35cm tall and may spread up to 90cm
Here at Polhill we recommend that you use a good quality compost mixed with your garden soil when planting in the ground. If going into containers then a good multipurpose compost or John Innes compost is recommended
