Helinium Mardi Gras is a type of sunflower that is known for its bright yellow flowers flashed with shades of red and orange. It is a herbaceous perennial that can grow up to 36 inches tall. The flowers are daisy-like and bloom from late summer to fall.

Planting : When planting in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If planting in a container then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost with added John Innes. These plants should be fed in Spring and late Summer with a good quality granular fertiliser.
