Geranium oxonianum Elworthy Misty thrives in moist, well-drained soil and can tolerate a variety of soil types, including sandy, loam, clay, and chalk. It can be planted in full sun to partial shade and is hardy up to H7 (-15 and lower). This hardy perennial is grown in a 2 Litre pot, making it easy to transplant into your garden.

The Geranium genus is vast, and this particular variety belongs to the hardy perennial group, also known as the Crane’s Bill. These plants are generally easy to grow and are a great addition to any garden border. They can tolerate most conditions, except for very wet and boggy areas. They mainly flower from spring to late summer and have a low growth habit, making them ideal for ground cover.

For more vigorous varieties, it is recommended to trim them back after the first flowering to encourage regrowth and a second flowering. In winter, when the plant dies back, a good mulch will provide all the nutrients it needs to shoot away in the spring.
