This unassuming evergreen with shiny, wavy leaves will amaze you in late winter-early spring with its long, silvery tassels raining like tinsel over the shrub. This form is denser than ‘James Roof’. Formative pruning should be done after tassels are spent. Prefers good drainage and is somewhat drought-tolerant once established. Farther inland you may need to protect it from wind, and heat and give summer water, but in time it will take off! Useful, robust, and attractive.
