Gaillardia Celebrations is a beautiful, long-blooming perennial that is known for its bright red flowers. The flowers are about 3-4 inches in diameter and bloom from midsummer to autumn. The petals are a single row of elegant red petals adorned with fine yellow tips. The center of the flowers is a two-tone mix of the same colouring in deeper shades. Reaching a height and spread of 16-24 inches, these cheerful plants are happy on all soil types as long as it is well-drained.

• Gaillardia Celebrations is a relatively easy plant to grow. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It is drought-tolerant once established, but does appreciate regular watering during hot, dry weather. It is also a popular choice for attracting pollinators, such as bees and butterflies. Also deer resistant.

Planting: When planting this plant in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If planting in a container then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost. These plants should be fed in Spring and late Summer with a good quality granular fertiliser.
