We have been waiting to offer this new foxglove variety Candy Mountain Rose since it first appeared in the trade a couple years ago. Its a novel introduction since its the first one to have upward-facing flowers that allow gardeners to see the white speckled throats of the rose-pink flowers. Hummingbirds love this Digitalis as well! Flower spikes rise 3-4 tall on thick stems from the large rosette of leaves. This variety tends to be a biennial, so it blooms the second year but allowing the seeds to fall to the ground produces more plants in future years.
